Ulysse Nardin introduced the limited edition Qatar Watch Club version of the Freak X model family, which is added to the brand's product line in 2019.
Watch clubs are becoming more and more an integral part of the industry every day. These organizations, which have become the common meeting point of enthusiasts who share the same passion, of course, do not escape the watch brands’ notice. A new one is added today to the clubs where many brands from different segments have supported with special/limited editions: Ulysse Nardin is reinterpreting the newest version of the Freak X model family, which has been highly acclaimed since its launch, for Qatar Watch Club, one of the important watch organizations of the Middle East.
The new model comes in a Freak X style case with a diameter of 43mm and a height of 13.35mm. The Freak X model family, which stands out with its different materials, does not break the tradition in this limited version. Titanium with black DLC coating is used in the construction of the case. The case, with sapphire crystals on the front and back, is resistant to a water pressure of 50 meters, just like the other models in the collection.
The dial of the model is structurally prepared directly using the Freak X platform. However, the green details referring to the Qatar Watch Club organization to which the model is attributed do not go unnoticed. Green, which is one of the important characteristics of the Middle East, has a place for itself in hour markers and movement components.
Ulysse Nardin Freak X “Qatar Watch Club” Edition comes to life with the Caliber UN-230 in-house movement, just like the other models of the series. Flying Carousel Baguette automatic movement operates at a frequency of 3Hz (21.600vph) and offers 3 days (72 hours) power reserve when fully wound.
Limited to only 10 pieces, the model comes with two straps, a green stitched black rubber strap, and a white stitched green alligator strap.
