The Marine Torpilleur Collection, which draws attention with its simpler design details compared to the brand’s iconic Marine Chronometer and Marine Master collections, has been highly appreciated by both the authorities and watch enthusiasts since its first day of introduction. The collection, which successfully reflects the design DNA of the brand, is offered to the likes of watch aficionados once more with a renewed face for 2018. The new models included in the brand’s broad product line also represent the new face of the Marine Torpilleur Collection.

The Ulysse Nardin Marine Torpilleur Collection is entering 2018 with a fully refurbished case design which features lighter, more elongated lugs, a thinner fluted fixed bezel, and a much thinner flange framing the dial.

The dials of the new models are also updated. It is possible to find the classic design details of the brands in the new dials finished in gray and anthracite tones. The Marine Chronometer styled dials have a power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock and a small seconds counter at and date display at 6 o’clock. The dials feature the classic stylized Roman numeral hour markers and pink gold tone pear-shaped hands. Please note that the hands used in the dial of the stainless steel version are also prepared in pink gold.

The new models are powered by the manufacture Caliber UN-118. Equipped with advanced technology features such as DIAMONSIL escapement and silicium balance spring, the 50-jewels automatic movement beats at 4Hz (28.800vph) and offers a power reserve of 60 hours when fully wound. COSCC certified like the rest of the movement used in the brand’s product line, Caliber UN-118 is enjoyed through the sapphire crystal display case back.

The new models are offered on black alligator straps that are secured by folding clasps made of matching material with the cases. They are scheduled to hit the boutiques by the third quarter this year.
