Towards the end of 2016, Zenith and Land Rover brands have formed a brand partnership resulting in models dedicated to that alliance. At the Geneva auto show, Zenith announced the latest product of the brand partnership with Land Rover; Zenith Chronomaster El Primero Range Rover Velar.
The case, measuring 42mm x 12.75mm, is made of a special alloy called ceramised aluminum. The alloy which blends ceramic and aluminum comes to the forefront with durability and lightness. The case sports a sapphire crystal with antireflection coating on the front side and it water resistant to 100 meters.
The brushed grey dial is accompanied with copper coated hands and indices. At 6 o’clock, a date window was added with white font on a black background.
The new model is powered by the brand’s in-house Caliber El Primero 400B. Self-winding movement beats at 5Hz and offers a power reserve of 50 hours when fully wound.
The timepiece is offered on a perforated strap combining rubber and calf skin. The strap is secured by a black DLC coated folding clasp.
