Glashütte Original is known for its dial designs that feature more off-center instruments and its movements with high-horology complications in the world of watches. However, the concept of Seventies Panorama Date/Chronograph Panorama Date, one of the newest collections added by the famous brand to its product line, brings together the brand's DNA with details such as the TV-style case and gradient dial that left their mark on the 70s. The model family, which previously hosted different dial alternatives, including a vibrant yellow one, expands with a new reference featuring a dark blue theme.

The new model comes with a 40mm x 40mm, 14.10mm case, which we remember from the previous versions in the collection. Inspired by the TV-screen style of the 70s, the case is made of stainless steel. The nostalgic case sports a GO signed crown surrounded by thick guards and a set of rectangular chronograph pushers. The case, which has scratch-resistant sapphire crystals on both sides, is waterproof up to 100 meters, per the luxury sports chronograph concept.

The dial, which is the model-specific detail of the new version, hosts a galvanized blue tone and sunray patterned background. The brand signature panoramic date window is located at the 6 o'clock position on the dial. Super-LumiNOVA applied appliqué markers and, Dauphine-style hands display the time. The counter at 9 o'clock on the Bi-Compax chronograph layout dial hosts small seconds counter and a power reserve indicator. The chronograph feature's 30-minute counter is at 3 o'clock. At 12 o'clock, there is a 12-hour indicator, which draws attention with its arched shape.

The new model beats with the manufacture Caliber 37-02. The automatic Flyback chronograph movement offers a power reserve time of up to 70 hours when fully wound.
