I need to retell neither the Zenith nor the legendary movement of the brand, El Primero. Introduced in 1969 and carrying the title of the world's first automatic chronograph movement, El Primero attracted great attention with its column wheel and horizontal clutch architecture as well as its high frequency of 5Hz (36.000vph).

Zenith introduced three different models that come to life with this movement; A384, A385, and A386. The biggest feature that distinguishes A385 from other versions is its brown dial, which darkens out from the center and gives a sepia effect. This design, which is perhaps the first gradient dial in the history of watches, made the A385 more interesting and modern than the other two models. The famous brand had reproduced the A384 and A386 versions of these models in line with the Revival concept, remaining faithful to the originals. The model A385, missing from the trilogy, was added to the collection today.

The new model comes with a 37mm diameter classic case, like the previous models. The case is made of stainless steel and decorated with a circular brushed/glossy surface combination, with box-type sapphire crystal on the front, and a sapphire crystal case back on the back. The case, accompanied by a Zenith signed crown and piston-style hands, is waterproof up to 50 meters.

The A385 Revival comes with a gradient brown dial, crafted faithfully to the original model. The dial, which gets darker from the center outwards, offers a sporty and retro look with its white sub-dials and red second hand. Equipped with beige phosphor-filled baton hands and indices, as well as contrast black hands that can clearly show chronograph measurements, the dial has a date window at 4:30.

The latest version of the brand's legendary Caliber El Primero movement, El Primero 400, is used in the model. In addition to the hour, minute, second, and date functions, the automatic movement is equipped with a column wheel and horizontal clutch integrated chronograph feature, operating at a frequency of 5Hz (36.000vph) and offers up to 50 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
