Zenith added a new green-themed model to its modern sports-chronograph collection Chronomaster Sport model family, which it introduced in 2021.
The young model family, which was added to the current product group of the famous brand in 2021, attracted attention with its modern and sporty stance, unlike the models inspired by Zenith's past. The model family, which gained a solid place in the brand's catalogs following its successful chart shortly after its introduction, has hosted many versions offering different material and color options over time.
Although the newly introduced model stands out with its green theme, it is not the first version in the model family to wear this color. Chronomaster Sport Aaron Rodgers Limited Edition, introduced last year, also attracted attention with its green theme. The new model brings together this popular color of the watch world with the Chronomaster Sport model family, with a different shade of green.
The sporty case of the model, designed with a diameter of 41mm x 13.60mm, is made of stainless steel. The front side of the case has a dome-cut sapphire crystal and a green ceramic bezel for measuring at 1/10-second intervals, and the back side of the case has a glass compartment cover. The stylish case lives up to the Sport definition in the model's name with its 100-meter water resistance.
The new model has a green dial designed in a darker tone compared to the Aaron Rodgers Limited Edition. There are counters with a circular floor design at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock on the lacquered dial. The dial, where the time is read with baton hands and applique indices, has a date display with a green background disc at 4:30.
Zenith Chronomaster Sport Green is powered by the Caliber El Primero 3600 movement, just like the previous versions in the collection. The automatic caliber, which is today's representative of the El Primero chronograph movement, which has become the trademark of the brand, operates at a frequency of 5Hz (36,000vph) and offers a power reserve time of up to 60 hours when fully wound. Equipped with a column wheel coordinator, the refined mechanism differs from its counterparts in the industry with its chronograph function that can measure with 1/10 second precision.
The new model, added to the standard (not limited) collection, is completed by the three-piece steel bracelet and green silicone strap that we are familiar with from past versions.
