Well, we have just passed another Women’s Day on last Tuesday (8th March). In order to make a reference to that important day and celebrate our women followers, we decided to welcome a women’s watch from a strong reputation Swiss Brand. Here we are with the Zenith Elite Ultra Thin Lady Moon phase.
The Zenith Elite Ultra Thin Lady collection sports thirteen different versions. From all gold cases to stainless steel ones and from mother of pearl dials to purple colored ones the model is brought in a wide range of versions. When it gets to variety, I do not think of a single woman complain about it however, there might be a little confusion for deciding the model to buy. The timepiece we have here is the Ref. 22.2310.692/81.C709 version with diamond set 18K rose gold case.
The model comes in an 18K rose gold case with a 33mm diameter which is a brilliantly balanced size for today’s women shopping for a modern wrist watch. The WR30M rating case sports sapphire crystals in both front and back with double AR coating on the front one.
The transparent case back allows the user to see the beautifully finished in-house automatic Caliber Elite 692.
The movement features 195 individual parts and classic Côtes de Genève decoration. Its thickness is set at 3.97mm only. 27 jewels movements beats at 28800vph and offers 50h power reserve when fully wound.
In my opinion, we have the best dial version. As of its nature, the mother of pearl dials are unique pieces making the watches one of their kinds in appearance wise. The indices are replaced with a set of eleven diamonds accompanied more diamonds on the bezel. The dial features a small second sub dial at 9 o’clock and a moon phase indicator at 6 o’clock position together with rose gold hand set to match the case.
I have mentioned about the generosity of Zenith regarding variations. Well, same goes for the straps as well. The collection sports a vast variety of strap options including leather straps in different colors and matching metal bracelets. I believe the model we have here would have been stunning watch with the all gold bracelet as the Brown leather strap adds an extra touch of masculine character but, it’s a fact that the watch’s price increases dramatically when accompanied with the all gold bracelet.
The Brown alligator strap comes with an 18K rose gold buckle.
At the end of the day, I really liked the watch. I think Zenith did great in putting a nice ladies watch together in a modern size of 33mm and arguably the most beautiful looking complication: moon phase.
