Zenith, one of the LVMH Group's heavy hitters, introduced its new models to watch enthusiasts during the LVMH Watch Week Dubai 2020 event. Saying hello to the New Year with many different models, especially the women's models of the brand attracted great interest.
We mentioned that the calendar change in the major Swiss-based trade show organizations led brands to organize earlier events. In this context, the first major event of the New Year came from the LVMH Group, the leading luxury group. Zenith was our first guest of the brands that introduce their novelties in a special event held in Dubai.
It seems that the rise of the well-established brand, especially in the last few years, has not lost anything of its momentum. Zenith, which does not fall from the agenda with the models that combine the glorious past of the brand with the future, as well as technological innovations to change the course of traditional watchmaking, took its place among the stars of the event held in Dubai. Let us take a closer look at the novelties of the brand, which attached a special attention on women’s models.
DEFY 21 LAND ROVER EDITION Reference: 97.9000.9004/01.R787
Among the new models of the brand, Defy 21 Land Rover Edition produced for the partnership of famous luxury car manufacturer Land Rover takes first place. The model, designed on the Defy 21 platform, stands out with its gray ceramic case and its matching dial. Equipped with Caliber El Primero 9004 automatic movement, which can measure 1/100 of a second, the model is limited to 250 units only and is available with a MSRP of 13900 CHF.
DEFY 21 CARL COX EDITION Reference: 10.9001.9004/99.R941
The new Defy 21 is designed for Carl COX, one of the best DJs of all time. The model is fully made of carbon from the case to the pushers, crown and buckle head. The model, which features a record looking sub-dial at 9 o’clock, is limited to 200 units only and is available with a MSRP of 19500 CHF.
EL PRIMERO A384 REVIVAL Reference: 03.A384.400/21.M384
The new models include the El Primero A384 Revival, which has inspired vintage watch lovers. The model, which is the modern version of the first El Primero A384 model, comes in a 37mm diameter stainless steel case that is faithful to the original version. Equipped with a dazzling Gay Frères style ladder bracelet and the Caliber El Primero 400 Automatic movement, which operates at a frequency of 36,000vph, the retail price of the model is 8400 CHF.
PILOT TYPE 20 RESCUE Reference: 03.2434.679/20.I010
The Pilot Type 20 series is also among the Zenith LVMH Watch Week Dubai 2020 Novelties. The model, which promises a bold wrist presence with its new 45mm diameter stainless steel case, is equipped with the Caliber Elite 679 automatic movement. The large Arabic number indexes on the silver dial with sunlight pattern are made entirely of SuperLuminova phosphor material. The model comes with a black vintage calfskin leather strap with rivets that is secured with a titanium pin buckle. MSRP is 7400 CHF.
PILOT TYPE 20 RESCUE CHRONOGRAPH Reference: 03.2434.4069/20.I010
Pilot Type 20 also meets the watch lovers with a chronograph model as well. The model also comes with a 45mm diameter stainless steel case and a gray dial. Equipped with the El Primero 4069 self-winding movement and a black vintage calfskin leather strap with rivets that is secured with a titanium pin buckle, the model is available with a MSRP of 7900 CHF.
DEFY MIDNIGHT
We talked about the importance that Zenith attribute to women models within the LVMH Watch Week Dubai 2020 Novelties. The first example of this is the Defy Midnight series. With a total of six different references, the new models come with a 36mm diameter Defy-style stainless steel case and a matching metal bracelet. In addition, the models come with three interchangeable straps and a folding clasp. Equipped with the Elite 670 SK automatic movement, the models are available in brown, gradient blue and mother-of-pearl dial options. The price range of the collection, which is also available with diamond set bezel versions, is between 8900 and 10900 CHF.
ELITE CLASSIC & ELITE MOONPHASE- 36MM
The other women's collections introduced in the event are the Elite Classic and Elite Moonphase 36mm series. All models come with 36mm diameter stainless steel and 18K rose gold cases equipped with diamond set bezels. Powered by the Elite 670 SK (Classic) and Elite 692 (Moonphase) automatic movements, the models are available with blue, anthracite and cream dials. The models come with blue, brown and gray crocodile leather straps that are accompanied by stainless steel or 18K rose gold buckles referring to the case material. Stainless steel models retail as 7900 CHF (Classic) and 8900 CHF (Moonphase); while the 18K rose gold models are available with 14900 CHF (Classic) and 15900 CHF (Moonphase) list prices.
ELITE CLASSIC & ELITE MOONPHASE- 40,5MM
The collection, which takes its place as the men’s series of the Elite product line, comes with a 40.5mm diameter case. Available in stainless steel and 18K rose gold, the Elite 670 SK (Classic) and Elite 692 (Moonphase) automatic movements power the models. Blue, anthracite and cream dials are complemented by blue, brown and gray crocodile leather straps that are secured by a buckle made of matching material with the case. Stainless steel models are available with a MSRP of 5900 CHF (Classic) and 6900 CHF (Moonphase), while 18K rose gold models are available with 12900 CHF (Classic) and 13900 CHF (Moonphase) list prices.
