Bell & Ross has added a new version to its Skull-themed models, which it has included in its product line since 2009.
The French origin boutique brand continues to expand its Skull concept series, which it started in 2009. The concept, which became famous for its interactive skull figure, meets watch enthusiasts once again with its new model that fascinates with its case made entirely of sapphire crystal.
The new model comes with a BR 01 style case measuring 43.5 mm x 45 mm x 14 mm. The case, which is made of polished sapphire crystal entirely, manages to take the theme of transparency one step further. The front of the case, which is waterproof up to 30 meters, features a sapphire crystal with 12 indices and the Bell & Ross logo.
The dial designed in skeleton form is dazzling with its facets. The skull figure, which also offers a 3D image with its delicately applied facets, is also produced from sapphire crystal. The figure's jawbone that looks like it’s suspended between two layers of sapphire crystal, moves when the movement is manually wound.
The hand-wound BR-209 movement gives life to the new model. Working at a frequency of 4Hz / 28.800vph, the in-house movement offers 48 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
The model, which is limited to only 10 pieces, is accompanied by a translucent rubber strap fastened to the wrist with a black PVD coated buckle.
