The new model family uses the Superocean Slow Motion Chronograph Ref. 2005 model introduced by the brand in the 1960s as inspiration. The model, which is engraved in memories with its wide and angular indexes, thick hour/minute hands, and a second hand with a giant square at the tip, comes to life in the new collection as a three-hander.

Breitling Superocean Automatic “Slow Motion” is a wide collection that uses the same design language but offers rich alternatives not only in color or material but also in case size.

First of all, there are four different case options in the collection: 36mm, 42mm, 44mm, and 46mm. All of the cases, which are available in stainless steel, steel/18K rose gold, and bronze alternatives, are resistant to 300 meters of water pressure. Sharing common elements such as the thick lug design, Breitling signed large crown, and ceramic insert diver bezel, the cases impress with their retro and sporty looks.

The new collection is accompanied by colorful dials specifically combined according to case size, material, and production quantity. The dials, which are available in brown, orange, green, blue, white, and black, promise perfect legibility under all kinds of light with their Super-LumiNOVA-filled oversized components. The vintage-inspired dials also give a green light to users who like absolute symmetry, thanks to the absence of a date window.

The new model family, which hosts 16 different references, takes its power from the Breitling Caliber 17 movement. Based on the ETA 2824-2, the COSC-certified automatic movement beats at a frequency of 4Hz (28,800vph) and offers 38 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
