Czapek, one of the modern representatives of independent brands, added a new limited-production version to its successful model Antarctique in the sport-chic segment. Introducing: Czapek Antarctique Royal Onyx.
The model, which was introduced at the Dubai Watch Week 2023 organization, which started today and is planned to last until November 20, is added to the Antarctique product group that the brand launched in 2020. Come and take a closer look at the new model, which is limited to only 18 units.
The sporty model comes with a case designed with a diameter of 40.50mm and a height of 10.60mm. The stylish case, which features matte and glossy surfaces, is made of stainless steel. The case, equipped with sapphire crystals on both sides, is resistant to 120M water pressure, with the help of the screw-in winding crown.
The limited-edition version, introduced as part of Dubai Watch Week 2023, differs from previous models with its blue sapphire indexes on the glossy onyx dial. The stylish dial, accompanied by perforated hour/minute hands and a blue-tipped seconds hand, does not include any extra features, including the brand date window.
The new model is powered by the in-house Caliber SXH5 movement. The 28-jewel/193-component automatic movement, which stores energy with a platinum rotor, also includes high-end technical features such as Swiss lever escapement and variable inertia balance. The movement operates at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph) and is almost weekend-proof with its 60-hour power reserve when fully wound.
The box set of the model, which comes with a steel bracelet that has become the signature of the product group with its characteristic design, also includes a rubber and leather strap compatible with the quick-change system. The list price for the model is CHF 34,000.
