Streamliner, the automatic chronograph model of Swiss boutique manufacturer H. Moser & Cie, draws attention with its new blue dial version.
Not a year after H. Moser & Cie introduced the stainless steel Streamliner Chronograph with an automatic chronograph, the second version of the series showed up with a blue dial. I have good news for the new watch, which combines a steel case and an integrated bracelet with an automatic caliber via extraordinary architecture and craftsmanship: It is not a limited edition. If you haven't been in the 100 lucky people waiting in line for the previous model, it's time to seize this opportunity.
With its first version, a limited-edition model with a gray dial, the Streamliner Chronograph became the winner of the chronograph category in GPHG 2020. The new version of the model, whose beauty has been registered with one of the most prestigious awards of the watch world, is at least as good as its predecessor.
The stainless-steel case measures 42.3mm x 14.2mm and sports sapphire crystals on both sides. The case can withstand water pressure up to 120 meters. The sense of quality created by the extraordinary level of craftsmanship in the case and bracelet is evident in every detail of the model. There are four hands on the blue dial that display the hours, minutes, chronograph seconds, and chronograph minutes. The counters for the chronograph feature are not compressed into small sub-dials, which results in a highly legible dial.
The simplicity of the dial leaves its place to an admirable complexity in the movement part. The automatic AgenGraphe movement, which we remember from watches such as the Fabergé Visionnaire Chronograph and Singer Track1 Chronograph, measures 34.4mm x 7.3mm. 434-piece/55-jewel movement beats at a frequency of 3Hz (21.600vph) and offers 54 hours of power reserve when fully wound. The most interesting thing is that when you look at the movement from the sapphire display case back, you do not see any rotor because the oscillating weight of the caliber is located just below the dial. H. Moser & Cie, who places the hands of the Flyback Chronograph feature on the same axis with the hour and minute hands, takes the high watchmaking game one step further.
