The timepieces which will be auctioned by the world famous auction house Christie’s for the Onlywatch auction, were presented in Istanbul for the first time with the contributions of Akbank Private Banking. We had a pleasant chat with Remy Julia about this upcoming auction and Christie’s.
Will be auctioned to provide funding for research conducted on Duchenne Muscle Dystrophy, a muscle disease, a total of 50 timepieces will be offered for sale this year. All the watches in the auction are unique timepieces exclusively produced for this special occasion. The auction takes place in every two years since 2005 and the total funding reach nearly 25 million EUR per auction.
Istanbul is one of the locations which hosted a special event for the presentation of the timepieces to be sold in the auction. After the event which welcomed many exclusive personalities, we had a pleasant chat with the Christie’s specialist and our dear friend Remy Julia at Horobox TV.
In the meantime, we asked the guests at the event for their favorite timepiece at the auction and their estimation for the final selling price. We’ll see who had the closest guess on 11th November 2017.
