IWC has added a new version with a metal bracelet to its classic product line Portugieser Chronograph model family.
Portugieser Collection, one of the sports and stylish product lines of IWC, has been hosting chronograph versions for nearly 30 years. The product group, which has seen many technical and visual updates during this period, comes with a metal bracelet for the first time in its history.
The new model comes in a modern and stylish case with a diameter of 41mm and a height of 13.1mm. Made of stainless steel, the case is accompanied by IWC signed large crown and piston-style chronograph pushers. There are scratch-resistant sapphire crystals on the front and back of the case, which we are sure that it will stand bigger than 41mm on the wrist with its thin bezel. The model can withstand water pressure up to 30 meters.
The dial of the model comes in a silvery finish. The dial, accompanied by the blue-colored large Arabic numeral indices and hands, is designed in the Bi-Compax chronograph layout. The IWC logo is at 3 o'clock on the dial, where the chronograph counters are at 12 and 6 o'clock positions. Let us remind you that there is no phosphor application on the dial.
IWC Portugieser Chronograph Stainless Steel Bracelet Ref. The IW371617 works with the manufacture Caliber 69355. 27-jewels automatic movement beats at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph) and offers 46 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
The metal bracelet, which is the prominent feature of the model, is designed in an integrated form. With its matte and shiny links, the bracelet is in harmony with the sports-casual style of the model.
