Longines is one of the brands that can express the Heritage style most successfully. All the models in this series are not only modern versions of milestones in the history of the brand, but also set standards for how vintage models should be re-issued.

The Heritage Classic Tuxedo and Heritage Classic Chronograph Tuxedo models introduced in the past days were greeted with great enthusiasm by many watch lovers, including myself. I must even say that I look at those two timepieces with great admiration for minutes. Dimensions, colors, dials, hands, straps... In short, every detail that needs to come together to form the watch has been put together so brilliantly that the “time machines” you have can successfully fulfill the task of taking you back to the 1940s.

The Tuxedo model has a 38.5mm diameter while the chronograph model comes in a 40mm diameter case, both made of stainless steel. Features such as sapphire crystal, solid case back, and 30-meter water resistance value are common to both models. The dials are designed in duotone, black and metallic colors, as can be understood from the word Tuxedo in the models’ names. The blue hands used in the chronograph model are flawless.

Both models are equipped with self-winding Longines movements. However, as a tribute to the 1940s, the phrase Automatic was not added to the dials. The Classic model beats with the Caliber L893 with a power reserve of 64 hours, while the Classic Chronograph model works with the Caliber L895 with a power reserve of 54 hours.

The tachymetric scale and bi-compax chronograph layout around the dial of the Classic Chronograph model highlight the retro-sporty character of the model. The simplicity that dominates the classic model, on the other hand, emphasizes the vintage theme. Both models come with black calfskin straps and standard stainless-steel buckles.

In addition to all these features, both models attract attention with their competitive prices. The Classic comes with a price tag of 12650 ₺ while the Chronograph model is available with a price tag of 18700 ₺. Perfect.
