Longines offers both sportiness and elegance together with the Master Collection Chronograph, a stylish model with a dazzling deep blue dial that evokes summer.
Longines is among the locomotive brands of the watch industry with its astonishing annual production number (1.4 million!) in luxury watchmaking. The famous brand, which is also the father of the Heritage concept, perhaps one of the most successful and long-lasting trends in the history of watchmaking, is appreciated today with its modern and versatile models as well as its retro designs.
The model we chose for the review is included in the brand's Master Collection series, which offers both sporty and classic themes. Designed with a modern diameter of 42mm, the case presents a solid stance on the wrist with a total thickness of 14.30mm. The model, which has scratch-resistant sapphire crystals on both sides, underlines the need to avoid water with its waterproof value limited to 30m only.
The model comes with a dial designed in a cobalt blue tone. Baton markers and leaf-style hands accompany the dial, which offers a vivid look with its sunray pattern. The dial, designed in the Tri-Compax chronograph layout, also hosts a date window located at 4:30.
The stylish model beats with the Caliber L688.2 movement, exclusively designed by ETA for Longines. Equipped with a column-wheel coordinator chronograph feature, the automatic movement impresses with its power reserve time of 66 hours when fully wound.
The model, which comes on a five-link sporty metal bracelet and a folding clasp with button release, has a tag price of 27.130.00 ₺ as stated on the Longines e-commerce site.
