The model’s stainless steel case measures 43mm in diameter. Thanks to its thin bezel and relatively long lugs, the timepiece wears a tad larger than 43mm but in quite comfortable way. The case sports both satin brushed and mirror polished parts and is water resistant to 50 meters. The caseback is mounted on the case with six little screws and features a sapphire crystal display. The front side also sports a sapphire crystal with AR coating.
The model’s dial is designed in the form of a classic regulator lay-out based on displaying the time with one hand instead of two. Minute indices are positioned on the outside of the dial and in large numbers. Hour is displayed in a round window placed at 12 o’clock. It is possible to read the watch quickly and correctly thanks to this dial arrangement which puts the a little non-user friendly representation of single-arm mechanical watches in a more practical way. Jumping Hour style mechanism was preferred for the hour disk that moves under the window placed at 12 o’clock. MeisterSinger Salthora Meta Transparent is powered with the Sellita SW200-1 movement which we have frequently encountered in entry and intermediate Swiss automatics. The ETA 2824-2-based and self-winding movement beats at 28800vph and is capable of providing 38 hours of power reserve when fully wound. It is important to note that the 38 hour power reserve, which is relatively low in today’s standards, is a reasonable value for a mechanism with a jumping hour system, as the complication is more energy consuming than the standard display models.
MeisterSinger Salthora Meta Transparent is available in several different strap / bracelet alternatives. On this particular model is a brown strap made of hand-sewn aged-look leather. The strap is secured with a signed pin buckle made of stainless steel. Alternatives to this configuration include stainless steel mesh bracelets and leather straps with folding clasps.
