NOMOS Glashütte, one of the major German origin brands in the luxury watchmaking industry, introduced a pair of new models added to its highly acclaimed Ahoi and Club collections. The new models that draw attention with their white dials and red/blue accents are powered by the brand’s manufacture automatic movements.

NOMOS Glashütte, one of the most successful representatives of the Bauhaus style in the world with its simple but functional designs, introduced two new models that have been designed to take place in the Ahoi and Club product groups, which have been praised by watch lovers since their introduction.

The common point of the new models in the new Siren White series is the white dials adorned with red and blue details. Designed in typical NOMOS-style, the white background dials are accompanied by red Arabic numeral indices and a set of metallic blue hands. Red and blue accents on white background is a composition that we are used to seeing in the new ocean-theme models introduced with the arrival of summer. NOMOS adding dials that are inspired by simplicity, the result is a pair of beautiful white dial timepieces.

Besides the simple dial designs, let me add that the hour markers and hands are filled with neon blue Super LumiNOVA phosphor material. The difference between the models, which are basically the same in terms of color scheme, is the thickness of the large Arabic numeral indices. The hour markers used in the new Ahoi Siren White model are designed thinner than the ones offered in the Club Siren White model. This feature, which brings Club model a step ahead in terms of legibility, makes the Ahoi model more attractive for users who prefer simplicity.

Both models are offered in stainless steel cases. NOMOS, which did not change its preference of relatively compact case designs, offers the Ahoi version with a 36.3mm diameter case while the Club version is equipped with a 37mm diameter case. Promising a comfortable wear by measuring less then 10mm in total height, both models’ cases are water resistant to an impressing 200 meters / 20 bar.

The models in the new Siren White series are powered by the brand’s manufacture movement Caliber DUW 3001. The self-winding movement measures 28.8mm in diameter and 3.2mm in height, beats at a frequency of 3Hz (21.600vph) and offers a power reserve of 43 hours when fully wound. Equipped with NOMOS’ patented Swing System escapement, the movement can be enjoyed with pleasure through the sapphire crystal display case backs.
