The Italian origin watchmaker Panerai, renewed his sponsorship deal with the famous explorer Mike Horn for the Pole2Pole project. He plans to complete the Mike Horn project, which will circulate around the North and South Pole with the Pole2Pole project in 2 years.

Mike Horn started his project last year in May in Monaco. The famous explorer who is at Capetown at the moment waiting to take off for the South Pole, Panerai announced their cooperation. The result was the Panerai Luminor Submersible 1950 Pam00719. Mike Horn, which will be launched with a sailboat named Pangea, had an adventure with the same boat from 2008-2012.

The Submersible will be limited to 500 pieces. It has a case diameter of 47mm and is made of titanium. The watch, which has a blue dial color, features Pole2Pole writing in yellow at 6 o’clock.

Two iconic animals of poles are engraved on the caseback of the watch; Penguin and Polar Bear. It has a power reserve of 72 hours with its P.9001 caliber. The watch is water resistant to 300 meters.
