TAG Heuer has announced the new limited edition Carrera model specially designed for the Middle East market. The new model added to the cult Carrera collection of the brand, whose name is mentioned together with motorsports, draws attention with its green dial and Arabic hour markers.
The new model comes in a modern Carrera-style case with a diameter of 42mm. The sporty case, with scratch-resistant sapphire crystals on both sides, is waterproof up to 100 meters. The elegant case, in which matte and glossy surfaces are used in a balanced way, sports a TAG Heuer emblem crown and piston-style chronograph pushers.
Most of the distinctive features of the model are on the dial. The sunray patterned dial hosts a green background prepared in a tone suitable for the theme. Hour markers designed using Arabic characters emphasize the Middle East theme.
Inside the new model is manufacture Caliber Heuer 02. Equipped with a column wheel and vertical clutch integrated chronograph feature, the automatic movement also offers an efficient power reserve time of 80 hours. The Caliber Heuer 02, which is wound with a perforated green rotor, can be viewed through the sapphire crystal back cover.
Limited to only 150 pieces, TAG Heuer Carrera Middle East Limited Edition comes with a stainless steel bracelet, which we will remember from other models sharing the same series, and a brown leather strap added to the box set as an extra. The list price for the model is CHF 5,800.
