TAG Heuer has added a new version to the iconic Monaco model family. The new version, which is inspired by the classic Heuer Monaco in terms of design, also offers a modern look with its micro-sandblasted titanium case and gray dial.
TAG Heuer, one of the leading brands whose name is mentioned with motorsports, is expanding the Monaco Collection, one of the classic product groups, with a new version that offers both retro and modern elements together. Monaco, which has the title of the most iconic square case model in the world of watches, adds titanium, known for its strength and lightness, to its material portfolio for the first time with this model.
The model's case, designed in 39mm x 39mm dimensions, is made of ultra-light Grade 5 titanium alloy. The case, which offers a modern and industrial look with its micro-sandblasted surface form, is accompanied by the crown on the left and large chronograph buttons, one of the signature details of the model family. The case, with scratch-resistant sapphire crystals on both sides, is waterproof up to 100 meters.
The new model features a dial with black chronograph counters on a metallic gray background. The 12 o'clock marker and central second hand finished in red in the classic Bi-Compax style dial emphasize the sporty theme of the model. The preference of the classic Heuer logo on the dial with a date window at 6 o'clock also reinforces the retro appeal of the model.
TAG Heuer Monaco Titan beats with the modern version of Caliber 11, one of the legendary movements of the brand. The automatic Bi-Compax chronograph movement offers up to 40 hours of power reserve when fully wound.
The model, which comes with a contrast white stitched black alligator strap as well as a Heuer signed folding clasp, is available through the brand's boutiques and e-commerce site.
