Tudor, one of the shining stars of luxury watchmaking, introduced its first Boutique Edition model. The new model, designed using the brand's vintage-inspired diver's watch Black Bay Fifty-Eight platform, draws attention with its bronze case as well as its bracelet made of the same material.
The new model generally features classic Black Bay Fifty-Eight design elements. Standing out as a relatively compact member of the model family, the Fifty-Eight comes with a 39mm diameter and 11.9mm thick case made of a bronze alloy that Tudor has used before. On the front of the case, there is a curved sapphire crystal and an aluminum insert diving bezel made of bronze. The case, sporting a bronze winding crown, can withstand 200 meters of water pressure.
Black Bay Fifty-Eight Bronze has a gradient matte brown dial that reflects Tudor's design style. On the curved dial, there are large gold-plated numerals and round markers, as well as Snowflake-style hands, which are also the signature details of the model family.
Caliber MT5400, which we remember from different models in the brand's product range, powers the new model. Designed and manufactured in-house, the C.O.S.C certified automatic movement offers a power reserve time of up to 70 hours when fully wound.
The metal bracelet, which is undoubtedly the most striking part of the model, is made of bronze alloy, just like the case. The solid bronze 3-piece brushed bracelet is secured by a new generation folding clasp with a quick adjustment feature. Along with the model, a textile strap made of Jacquard fabric and designed following the general color palette of the model is also offered.
The list price for the model, which will be available only in Tudor boutiques, is CHF 4,300.
