Since 2021, Tudor continues to develop its Tool Watch style representative in the diver's watch segment. Pelagos, which blends not only its unrivaled price/performance ratio but also the original details in the brand's DNA with the modern diver's watch concept, has attracted great interest from watch enthusiasts since the day it was launched. The model family, which has been equivalent to left-hand winding models as well as alternative dial colors over time, gets a new version designed with a diameter of 39mm today.

The new model, which continues to incorporate Pelagos design elements in general, comes with a 39mm diameter and 11.8mm high case. The new case, which we can call an important change for a Tool Watch, especially in the period when the case diameters were updated with more compact dimensions, is produced from Grado 2 titanium alloy, as in the old models. The case, which has a sapphire crystal glass and ceramic enamel diver bezel on the front, houses a screw-down crown and a massive back cover. The sporty model is produced to withstand 200 meters of water pressure.

The black dial, which is another distinguishing feature of the new model, is appreciated for its perfect symmetry since it does not include a date window. The dial without date indicator, which is the common choice of not only us as the Horobox team but also many watch enthusiasts, fits perfectly with the Tool Watch style of the model. All the components on the dial, which have been redesigned according to the 39mm diameter, promise sufficient legibility in almost any environment thanks to the Grado X1 Swiss Super-LumiNOVA phosphor application.

Tudor Pelagos 39 gets its power from Caliber MT5400, one of the brand's in-house movements. The automatic movement, which carries the COSC certification, beats at a frequency of 4Hz (28.800vph) and draws a profile in line with rising industry standards with its 70-hour power reserve time when fully wound.

The new model comes with a three-piece titanium bracelet that we are familiar with from previous versions. Complementing the simple yet functional character of the model stylishly, the bracelet is fixed to the wrist with a folding clip equipped with the brand's patented T-Fit technology. The model carries a price tag of CHF 3950, which is quite reasonable considering its segment and features.
