Oris Divers Sixty-Five Green Dial (Ref. 01 733 7720 4057-07 5 21 02)

Oris Divers Sixty-Five was one of the best examples of green dial watches, which almost every brand used in one of its models after the color’s harmony with the bronze cases. The model is ready to stay on your wrist every day of the week, any time of day with its features such as beauty, elegance and water resistance.

I don’t really know what you think about Oris? This brand, which is one of my ‘loved ones’, hosts attractive, robust and relatively accessible models. Oris is particularly successful in diving watches and is also appreciated for its vintage-inspired designs. The model, which is the guest of our review corner today, carries almost the same design codes with the Carl Brashear Edition, which has attracted attention with its electric blue dial, round markers, and bronze case introduced in Baselworld 2016.

The Oris Divers Sixty-Five Green Dial comes in a 42mm stainless steel case. The anti-reflection coating is applied on both sides of the domed sapphire crystal. So when you look at the watch, you feel like if you put your finger you might touch the green dial. When you look at the stainless steel back of the watch, you can see Oris’ historic shield emblem. The black insert on the uni-directional bezel matches the dial color. With a screw-lock crown, the model provides resistance to water pressure up to 100 meters. We know that this value is not enough for professional divers, but you can easily carry it on your wrist if it is enough to accompany you to the swimming pool and/or the beach. In short, if you are looking for a reliable, remarkable and affordable dive watch, congratulations, you found it.

The model is powered by the Caliber 733 movement, which is based on the Sellita SW 200-1. The movement offers a power reserve of 38 hours when fully wound.

Markers in the green domed dial are accompanied by cream-colored Super-LumiNova on the hands and hour markers. This makes it easy to read the watch when it is underwater and there is little light. The date window is at 3 o’clock.
