For Baselworld 2016, the most American Swiss watch brand Hamilton launched a new collection of stunning models from its various product lines.
Hamilton Broadway Collection
There are three Broadway models in stainless steel featuring a black dial crossed by a vertical line from 12 to 6 o’clock, with parallel fine lines across the rest of the surface. The motif gets its inspiration from Manhattan’s world known avenue which is, the only road that goes through the entire island from north to south. The other New York inspired accents are the skyscraper-style hands that sweep across the applied indices.
The 40 mm Day-Date version features a quartz movement and displays hours, minutes and seconds, along with the day and date function located at 3 o’clock. The Day Date Auto offers the same functions, but this time powered by the Caliber H-30 with an impressive 80-hour power reserve, in a 42 mm case. A 43 mm chronograph driven by the automatic Caliber H-21 completes the new Broadway collection; all models are available with black leather strap or steel bracelet. Prices start at CHF 550 for the quartz model, rising to CHF 945 for the automatic and CHF 1850 for the Auto Chrono.
Hamilton Khaki Navy Frogman Collection
Khaki Navy Frogman Collection features a couple of diver’s watches made in titanium and stainless steel. The 46mm version is being offered in a titanium case with a helium release valve located at 6 o’clock position. WR1000M rated model is offered in black dial/red bezel insert configuration only.
42mm model features a stainless steel case with WR300M rating. This one is being offered in blue and black color options.
Both versions feature date displays and they are available with rubber strap or metal bracelet options.
Hamilton Khaki Navy Frogman Collection features a new crown design which seems to be helping to get the WR ratings besides its aesthetic beauty.
Hamilton Jazzmaster Face 2 Face
The next one is a limited model it happens to be my favorite from the brand’s novelties. As the name speaks for itself, the watch sports a duo face design with a rotating mid case. The front side features the time and chronograph functions while the back side provides to calculate with the tachymeter and telemeter functions.
The elliptic case is made of stainless steel with 53mm X 44mm dimensions. The blue tone applied to the dials is also present in the strap as well. Though it does not allow reading the time, I think the tachymeter/telemeter side is more beautiful than the other one.
Hamilton Jazzmaster Face 2 Face is powered with the Caliber H-41 offering 60h power reserve. The watch is limited to 1999 pieces only.
Hamilton Jazzmaster Thinline Gold
The model features a solid 18K yellow gold case with 40mm diameter. Besides its elegant appeal, the model also bears the title of being the only solid gold watch in the collection. The watch sports an AR coated sapphire crystal.
The accents on the dial nicely match with the gold themed character of the watch. Hamilton Jazzmaster Thinline Gold is powered with the Caliber ETA 2892-2 with date display at 6 o’clock position.
The watch comes on a black calf leather strap with gold plated pin buckle and it’s limited to 1892 pieces only.
Hamilton Khaki Field Collection
The collection includes three different models. All models sport AR coated sapphire crystals for enhanced legibility at all angles. The automatic chronograph model is WR100M rated while the other two are WR50M rated.
The chronograph features the automatic Caliber H-12 with 60h power reserve. 42 mm Day-Date model is powered with the Caliber H-30 offering 80h power reserve when fully wound.
All models feature the “ full black “ concept with the red tip second hand being the only exception.
