In the 90 years since the Reverso was born in 1931, it has become one of the most immediately recognizable watches of all time – a rare example of a design appreciated equally by men and women.

For 2021 Jaeger-LeCoultre introduces a new interpretation of one of its most admired models, the Reverso Duetto Medium, fitted with an automatic mechanical movement. The rotatable Reverso case, which combines the original Art Deco design with modern times, comes in stainless steel and 18K rose gold options. There are sapphire crystals on both sides of the cases measuring 40mm x 24mm x 9.5mm. Both cases are home to 60 diamonds (0.84 carats).

After the success of Reverso Duoface, designed in the 1990s, the double dial concept, which was reinterpreted with Reverso Duetto, is among the most popular series of the model family with its two different identities.

On the light-colored front dial, a central rectangle embellished with a deeply engraved sunray Guilloché pattern is framed by the minute scale with the Chemin de Fer motif. While the large Arabic number markers positively affect readability, they continue the classic Reverso tradition. In the dark-colored dial, a brushed central circle with a sunray pattern is defined by a thin gold or steel ring (matching the case material). Apart from 12 o'clock, there are thin and long markers on the dial, with Dauphine style hour and minute hands. The rotor, a small part of which can be seen from the perforated part in the center, is a stylish detail that distinguishes the model from hand-wound versions. The dark dial comes in blue on the stainless steel model and in black on the 18K pink gold model.

The new models come to life with the automatic movement Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 968A, which offers 38 hours of power reserve when fully wound. The stainless steel version comes with a blue alligator strap, while the 18K rose gold version is available with a brown alligator strap.
