Before moving on to the model, let's talk a little about the charity organization to which the income from the sale of the model will be transferred. Children Action was founded in 1994 by Swiss entrepreneur Bernard Sabrier as a charity dedicated to making a difference in the lives of underprivileged children around the world. Every two years, the organization hosts a gala that auctions off a small selection of merchandise to support the various causes of the charity.

The model in question is a one-off piece. Based on Patek Philippe's flagship perpetual calendar model Ref. 5270 platform, the model differs from the standard versions with its unique details.

First of all, the new model has the distinction of being the first and only titanium-cased version of the 5270. Titanium, which has been on the radar of luxury watchmaking for the last few years despite being used in the watchmaking industry for a long time, obviously continues its rapid rise in this segment. The meticulously designed case stands out with its timeless lines with a concave bezel, two-layer protrusions, and satin-brushed and polished buttons.

Another unique feature of the stylish model is the dial. The elegant dial is home to a sunray patterned background finished in emerald green.

At the heart of the model is the Caliber CH 29‑535 PS Q movement. The movement, which adorns the dreams of traditional chronograph fans with its hand-wound architecture, is among the most refined examples of its kind with its Perpetual Calendar feature. Crowned with the Patek Philippe seal, the movement hosts hours, minutes, small seconds, central seconds, and 30-minute counter chronograph, date, day of the week, month, leap year, moon phases, and a perpetual calendar with a day-night indicator.

The special model is completed by a black alligator strap and a folding clasp made of titanium.

The Unique piece model is getting ready to meet with watch lovers at the screenings before the "Geneva Watch Auction: XV" organized by Phillips Bacs & Russo house on May 7 and 8 at Hotel La Réserve Genève.
